eMMC won't flash - RodMyers - 09-12-2020 Received my PinePhone earlier this week. I flashed mobian onto the eMMC last night. This morning, the phone had a solid green light, and would not boot. The LED stays green and would not boot. Found the test*.img, and ran it. Everything passes, except the "Flash to eMMC". not sure what to do at this point. Any other ideas? I use, and would recommend, Jumpdrive. My bad. Yes, jumpdrive and dd onto the eMMC. Funny thing. I removed the battery, fired up the windows laptop, used etcher to finally re-flash the phone. No idea what was going on this day, but everything now works RE: eMMC won't flash - SwordfishII - 09-12-2020 (09-12-2020, 04:36 PM)RodMyers Wrote:(09-12-2020, 02:54 PM)dukla2000 Wrote:(09-12-2020, 12:34 PM)RodMyers Wrote: Received my PinePhone earlier this week.Flash an SDcard and check all is well. I have read similar reports every so often. Seems to be a slightly bad flash which is fixed with a reflash. I wouldn't worry about it unless it continues to happen. If it happens again, redownload your image (could be a dl error, did you verify the checksum?) and see. If it happens after all that, it's likely an emmc issue. |
