Pinephone - jesica - 07-22-2020 Hallo all, Sorry to bump in like this, I am struggling to connect my phone to my pc, it is not picking it up, what must I do My camera is also not working And it does not pick up my sd card Any url that might assist with the issues please regards RE: Pinephone - fernando_c_m - 07-22-2020 Hello, We don't know which OS you are using. I would suggest trying out mobian. https://wiki.mobian-project.org/doku.php?id=install Back camera works. Connection to a PC using an USB cable is more trickier, though. If you haven't modified your phone, it won't work. Connection to a Type A port with the supplied cable (or a similar one like the one supplied with the Pixel) will work - it's how you'd typically use jumpdrive to flash to the eMMC. It's host mode, and maybe connection to other USB C ports, that won't work. RE: Pinephone - fernando_c_m - 07-22-2020 (07-22-2020, 11:01 AM)wibble Wrote:You're right. As it was implied, that it didn't work, I thought it was meant connecting the PP running one distro to a computer using the supplied USB cable, which in my case does not work given I haven't made any hardware modification. lsbus does not report any new device having been attached when I connect the PP to my laptop running debian. You can imagine what will happen on other non linux based OS. : ) |
