RE: Purchase Convergence mainboard - ichibon-brosan - 07-20-2020

My “Community Edition: UBports" Limited Edition Linux SmartPhone is being delivered today.

How do I tell if I have the Convergence mainboard or not? I am new to this hardware.

Thanks,
Douglas

The convergence board is an "option upgrade"    on the next 'release' PostMarket OS Community Edition phone.

As an early adopter I assumed there was high likelyhood of hardware revisions, and it seems that especially around the modem there were a number of changes from 1.1 to 1.2.

For the record I am far more interested in buying a v1.2 board for the modem fixes than seeking a local shop to fix the usb port issue alone. Or would local servicing of Braveheart boards include these modem changes

At least your modem works.
