RE: Ubuntu Touch with OTA updates - Momomentum - 06-18-2020 Updated to #53 (dev). Calling WITH AUDIO WORKS! Only for incoming calls, but this is progress! Audio hums quite a lot, but apart from that transports the voice very well! RE: Ubuntu Touch with OTA updates - Luke - 06-18-2020 (06-18-2020, 07:04 AM)Momomentum Wrote: Updated to #53 (dev). Audio works for me both ways - incoming and outgoing. I'm on an European GSM band. Well for me it looks like its not an audio problem. I just cannot place an outgoing call at all, so I guess once that works I also have audio. I tried switching to 2G/3G, but somehow this gets ignored. RE: Ubuntu Touch with OTA updates - Luke - 06-18-2020 Stable OTA pushed RE: Ubuntu Touch with OTA updates - dflag84 - 06-18-2020 (06-18-2020, 09:17 AM)Luke Wrote: Stable OTA pushedIs the Stable OTA 3 includes CRUST? My calls + sms stops working , and requires a reboot , the it works until next sleep. But i do have calls w. audio both ways , until sleep /Bingo RE: Ubuntu Touch with OTA updates - Luke - 06-18-2020 (06-18-2020, 10:56 AM)bingo600 Wrote:(06-18-2020, 09:17 AM)Luke Wrote: Stable OTA pushed@Luke Yeah, its still buggy. It does turn on the screen though , when an incomming call is made from my other mobile. So the PP knows something is happening. @Luke How can one make a Clean install w. ie DEV 53 ? Is that dd/etcher the DEV53 image to an SD , and boot from SD. Then copy to eMMC (if needed) ? How's the SD card speed (internally) on the PP ? I'm asking if the PP will utilize the higher SD card throughput, in the current state ? I mean i have several "Free" Sandisk Ultra 32GB cards, that i could use as Devel cards. https://www.amazon.de/SanDisk-Ultra-microSDHC-memory-adapter/dp/B073JWXGNT/ But if there is a huge speed increase in getting a Sandisk Extreme 32G , i'd consider it. https://www.amazon.de/SanDisk-Extreme-microSDHC-Speicherkarte-SD-Adapter/dp/B06XWMQ81P/ It's not the 10€ , but the shipping that's a "killer" Edit: 10€ is a super offer ... Ordered 4 , to get free shipping /Bingo RE: Ubuntu Touch with OTA updates - LMalilil - 06-18-2020 So I opened the browser this time after deep sleep and losing sms and it seemed to fix it completely. Not losing calls or sms at all now |
