I wonder why you guys are getting this Track17 track number (never heard about track17 before) instead of DHL track number...

It looks Track17 doesn't work (based on few people comment). Can we request a DHL number?

While I do appreciate all of the work that everyone at Pine64 has put into this phone, I am a little annoyed with the fact that I had to use DHL for shipping. This is going to cost me an extra $60-$70 in duty fees. I'm honestly confused as to why regular mail shipping was such an issue when I have ordered multiple items from China since the quarantine without a problem.

So i emailed Sales and they gave me this reply.

"Status will be available when consignment arrived USPS incoming sorting center. Lead time about 1-4 weeks.

It's not a 17Track number. It's just improper phrasing in the email: "Your order has been shipped via 17Track."
17Track is one of many "universal" tracking sites that attempt to use the API of DHL, UPS, Fedex, Asendia, and many others to retrieve tracking information. If you ordered DHL, the number you got is the DHL tracking number, try it on the DHL web site, or another multi-carrier tracking site.

only pine64 is having this issue, my china items have been coming in regularly for the past 3 months and that thou a slight delay of 1-2days everything is in order. i am now thinking that they do not have enough stocks for all of us and they are trying to manufacture more in a rush, feel very very disappointed in the promised make by the team and the actions done on the ground is different

So, this open new questions:
1. If you got DHL upgrade, why USPS should handle the shipping? shouldn't be DHL?
2. 1-4weeks? DHL should bring it in 1-2 days. I mean, for the price you paid.
3. DHL tracking numbers are shorter than 40 digits. What is this long track17 digit? why are we not getting DHL numbers? I really don't get this point.
4. Four weeks take us out of the paypal period for complaining. HOpefully they say 1-4weeks just to keep complains away, and the phone will arrive before that.

Can you please tell us how this worked before? as you can see people are on fire here.

How long did  it take to have updates on track17. Who was the carrier? how long dit it take to come from hong kong?
