I went back and looked at the receipt in my email -- from April 7 -- and it has shipping set as "PinePhone Shipping", not DHL or anything else.Read the main post from this topic...... I am in the same position as RWG, and the main topic really doesn't say anything other then 'delay' 'delay' 'maybe some shipments going out' 'shipping problem' There really are no answers. I also ordered exactly April 7 with 'pine phone shipping' yet to receive anymore information. Its disappointing clearly. RE: Pinebook Pro & PinePhone shipping progress - heng - 06-14-2020 "PinePhone Shipping" is Asendia. RE: Pinebook Pro & PinePhone shipping progress - JMoore - 06-14-2020
[edit 9 June] If you originally selected Asendia, it is now possible to change to DHL shipping. Once we get 1000 people to switch over from Asendia to DHL shipment will commence. I'll obviously update you on that in due time
Pretty sure I have seen this asked but can't seem to find it. Will we be informed if we do, or do not, make the 1000 needed upgrades? If it fails will the people be refunded the upgrade cost? I ask because I now have 2 phones ordered, one on May 14 Standard shipping (upgraded to DHL June 9) and a second ordered May 21 but neither show anything past being received orders. Thank you for the work the PINE Team has done to make this a reality! I ordered very late (28 May) - did I miss some sort of cut-off date?Yes, the cutoff date for this batch was May 22nd. Your phone should ship in the next batch. We are not yet sure exactly when that will be but I don't think it will be a very long time. I'll have more information for you closer to the date - probably late next week. We still have no update from Asendia, but we expect to get an update on Monday, June 15. We're looking to start delivering French and Swiss Asendia orders soon however. Regarding FedEx, where possible we'll change FedEx shipments to DHL - this may not be possible for all FedEx shipments because the two companies do not always service the same area/ region. I chose for the cheaper option (on 16th of April): PinePhone shipping to Croatia. As far as I understand Asendia prefers addresses in France and Switzerland (I cannot understand why they cannot forward the shipment if they got it out from Hongkong, but I try to adapt myself to the situation). Would it be possible to change the shipment to a French destination? I will be there in the summer (in worst case scenario my relatives will receive it). RE: Pinebook Pro & PinePhone shipping progress - imryk - 06-15-2020 if iv'e ordered my pinebook pro on may 25th, will it get shipped this week or in the next shipment? RE: Pinebook Pro & PinePhone shipping progress - ragreenburg - 06-15-2020 (06-14-2020, 02:47 AM)rusty Wrote:The reason people are telling you to check the updates is because PinePhone Shipping is Asendia. So the updat s are telling you exactly why you haven't gotten any shipping information, because Asendia hasn't shipped due to the current situation. That's why they made the upgrade to DHL available.(06-13-2020, 08:48 AM)malditobastardo Wrote:(06-13-2020, 06:59 AM)rwg Wrote: So I've been seeing people on twitter and such receiving their phones, while I haven't gotten so much as a shipping confirmation. For comparison, I ordered late afternoon on the 22nd in the US and I don't think I got in on the first batch; I never got a DHL shipping number. So I am just waiting on the second batch to go out, you probably will be on it as well. RE: Pinebook Pro & PinePhone shipping progress - HaxNet - 06-15-2020 Guys, Guys, Guys. I just got the DHL email. Expecting Monday 6/22. I ordered on May 11. So just for comparisons when you should be receiving it.
