Beta1 (2020-10-24):
- based on unstable branch
- updated packages: alsa, firefox, freetype, mesa, phosh, phoc, squeekboard
- docked-mode issue got fixed
- geary-mobile removed
But yes, the ALSA Update seems to have caused audio problems.

Sorry, you're right. I changed a few things and made my own .iso file on the 25th. Indeed, sound when calling is distorted on the other side.

I ran pacman -Syuu this morning and several packages, including alsa-ucm-pinephone, were downgraded. Might fix the audio.
(If anyone didn't know, -Syuu, as opposed to -Syu, enables downgrading packages if indicated by the repository.)
Edit: Actually, now I get no sound at all in calls.

There's still sound distortion when calling. I suggest staying on Beta1 with Kernel 5.7.

I just lost the ability to talk to someone over the phone (sound is distorted to the degree where the other can't understand me at all), so not that great. But that's just the occasional step back, i presume.
