I'm seeing this to (but I also did the modifications discussed in this thread). If I hit the power button, and select "Suspend" it works great-- I left it on overnight and power only went down 2%. Yeah-- after rolling back the sleep.conf and boot.txt changes, closing the laptop lid works as expected. later, I'll try re-applying them one at a time to see which one is the problem. You're right, I just reset everything but this time I only changed SuspendState to mem in /etc/systemd/sleep.conf and that's causing the pinebook pro to wake up after the lid is closed if you revert it back to 'freeze' it stays suspended but is not using S3. RE: Manjaro ARM 19.12 Official Release - PineBook Pro - PreMis - 02-20-2020 Hey All, Has anyone had trouble updating a freshly installed xfce? I've tried to an update through the gui and also terminal but I get an Error 404 on all mirrors. Tried updating the Keys and Mirrors but no joy. searched this forum but could not find anything that helps resolve it. Thanks a lot PM RE: Manjaro ARM 19.12 Official Release - PineBook Pro - PakoSt - 02-20-2020 @PreMis , take a look here : https://forum.manjaro.org/t/transition-to-new-mirror-structure/123858/7?u=pak0st The images haven't updated in a while so updating the mirrors list manually (with that one liner) is most efficient. PS: Just saw the newest comments. You might need to replace the URL of the package. RE: Manjaro ARM 19.12 Official Release - PineBook Pro - mfritsche - 02-22-2020 Hi there, I change my installation of Manjaro ARM to use GNOME + Wayland instead of KDE + X11. Since yesterday, gnome-shell crashes with a sigsegv - anyone seeing the same? So No Idea about it. For those have issues with Suspend, I assume you're using Mainline uboot which does not include Rockchip blobs which are required for suspend to work. I will try to make a package with the BSP u-boot where you can just install and dd it to the partition. Are those in the uboot-pinebookpro package, because I just ran the dd commands that it prints on installing and now suspend is unrecoverable. I can't wake up in any way I can think of. Also, power led still stays green and not red, like the stock Debian. RE: Manjaro ARM 19.12 Official Release - PineBook Pro - wdt - 02-24-2020 I am a little confused,, if booting from uSD, for it to actually work, there must be, on emmc, a uboot that looks at SD. In other words, either stock or maybe manjaro, and maybe no other When the emmc uboot runs, and then sees a bootable SD, does it just boot it, or does it hand over to SD uboot? Anyway, I did NOT update manjaro uboot or idbloader (updates are Jan20) Sleep and wakeup seem to be working fine, no red led RE: Manjaro ARM 19.12 Official Release - PineBook Pro - spikerguy - 02-24-2020 (02-24-2020, 05:46 AM)slyecho Wrote:(02-23-2020, 04:10 AM)spikerguy Wrote: For those have issues with Suspend, I assume you're using Mainline uboot which does not include Rockchip blobs which are required for suspend to work. The uboot-pinebookpro have mainline uboot and you flashed it. So now you have mainline uboot on ur Manjaro installation. I had planned to make uboot-pinebookpro-bsp but didn't get time today. Will get it ready tomorrow and push it to unstable, so users can move to bsp uboot and have suspend. Most users wanted mainline uboot so we made mainline uboot as default. @wdt If suspend is working for you then that means you have bsp uboot on ur sd card. And yes emmc looks for boot script on sd card and hands over to sd card to follow the boot process. |
