FYI in case someone runs into the same problem: I also had the "No SIM" problem with a PP BHE and a 1 year old O2 Germany SIM card. However, the SIM worked in other phones, and other O2 SIMs worked in my PP BHE.
I finally contacted the O2 customer service and received a new replacement SIM, which now works flawlessly
. No idea, what the problem was...

Hi, hmm it doesn't work for me, I am useing manjaro image, on the old manjaro image SIM working, but with new-one doesn't
