Have you added "cat herder" to your CV? =) RE: This is the ANSI layout - Luke - 11-27-2019 haha, @hmuller I know right. People still complain about the power button placement - still, this is nothing we can do anything about. RE: This is the ANSI layout - pfeerick - 11-28-2019 Make that "Large Cat Herder" ... well, larger than you average puddy cat Whilst I agree with 'grumble' ... I know I do enough of that myself, it can also be viewed as 'what can be improved'... one such improvement for the grumblers being that the power button is randomly remapped at every opening of the lid, so you never know which key will turn your PBP off! See, problem solved? What's that I hear... you don't like it? Configure it how you like it then! That layout looks perfect... I'm used to the 11" Pinebook layout now, and can hit those single and double quotes almost indistinctly now when typing code, but this will certainly be a lot easier! RE: This is the ANSI layout - jsfrederick - 11-28-2019 Love the new ANSI layout. Glad I placed an order for a second PBP with that new keyboard. RE: This is the ANSI layout - Diakonos - 11-29-2019 I think this is about the best compromise we could hope for in terms of functionality. As Thomas Sowell said, there are no solutions, only trade-offs. I actually don't mind the power button placement at all. I'm glad it's near the much larger (by feel) backspace key rather than the escape key. |
