Honestly I also don't really understand why my phone crashed rarely last year (only every few weeks!), crashed every few minutes in january and now... multiple times a day, but no more all the time. What changed between phase 1, 2 and 3? Only apt upgrade. Wierd...

Do you use QWERTZ as keyboard layout? Yes, those crashes are annoying. In my case, it happens when I try to launch anything, Megapixels, Gnome Control Center, Chatty.
