RE: Purchase Convergence mainboard - ichibon-brosan - 07-20-2020 My “Community Edition: UBports" Limited Edition Linux SmartPhone is being delivered today. How do I tell if I have the Convergence mainboard or not? I am new to this hardware. Thanks, Douglas RE: Purchase Convergence mainboard - bcnaz - 07-20-2020 The convergence board is an "option upgrade" on the next 'release' PostMarket OS Community Edition phone. RE: Purchase Convergence mainboard - Giiba - 07-20-2020 As an early adopter I assumed there was high likelyhood of hardware revisions, and it seems that especially around the modem there were a number of changes from 1.1 to 1.2. For the record I am far more interested in buying a v1.2 board for the modem fixes than seeking a local shop to fix the usb port issue alone. Or would local servicing of Braveheart boards include these modem changes RE: Purchase Convergence mainboard - afigegoznaet - 07-20-2020 (07-20-2020, 11:55 PM)Giiba Wrote: As an early adopter I assumed there was high likelyhood of hardware revisions, and it seems that especially around the modem there were a number of changes from 1.1 to 1.2. At least your modem works. |
