If possible I'd like to see the EC25-AF variant used because it supports band 71 which is important for getting full access to T-Mobile US's LTE network (there are large areas of their network that only have service on band 71). That variant also apparently supports Verizon's LTE network (which the -A variant does not) which would significantly increase the potential customer base for the device (as Verizon is the largest carrier in the US). Thanks RE: FOSDEM 19 Announcements Discussion - Firestorm - 02-19-2019 Well, looks like the Pinebook Pro generates a lot of interest. In fact, I'd order it asap myself, too. :-) RE: FOSDEM 19 Announcements Discussion - monty1 - 02-19-2019 Very curious about the cube. Looks like it has tf slot for local recording. What resolutions/frame rates/bit rates will it support to the card and over IP? What resolutions/frame rates/bit rates will it support to the card and over IP? The mSD slot is for the OS. I am sure you'll be able to plug in a USB drive or thumb-stick to record local video / store pictures locally. As for resolutions, 1080p@60 and 4K@30 [and lower] - but obviously it all depends on software, and we need devs to get their hands on dev units first. I predict will have 5-6 hours on a single charge and will post my finding on next week. I'm curious whether you can yet say anything about the battery run times of the Pinebook Pro. |
