Hi,
I was just wondering how the video performance i.e. YouTube, Netflix, playing video files, games, etc. compares between Manjaro with Panfrost drivers and stock Debian. Also if anyone has played supertuxkart on the PBP, what graphics settings and FPS can I expect.
Thank you!
supertuxkart requires OpenGL ES 3.0, so I think you need a Kernel > 5.3 and mesa-git and also set the environment variable PAN_MESA_DEBUG=gles3
Netflix is also not a current possibility for any kind of benchmarking on Manjaro. There is no aarch64 Widevine available to be able to watch it.
you can run supertuxkart with gles2 in a low graphics mode. using gles3 it can support graphics quaility 2. I was getting 60fps in testing.

vaapi for wayland just landed in firefox nightly, and hantro/rkvdec are improving in kernel 5.7.

ask the question again in may Wink.

Will Netflix work via a Kodi?
As there is currently no Kodi which works on PBPro i guess Netflix will also not work.

Even if there were a Kodi available to use, likely not, since Netflix requires Widevine. Without an aarch64 Widevine, no Netflix at all.
I thought it was possible to extract widevine from chromium os builds
32bit aka armhf only at present

kodi works fine on pbp, including 18.6 just released.

Setting the environment variable breaks the game. The graphics don't render. I am running Manjaro with Panfrost drivers.
