Hello,

I just recently discovered that Lakka is available in the nightlies for the pine allwinner boards.  I tested it on my A64+ and what I tested (NES, SNES, GBA, PSX, DOOM, Quake) worked.  N64 and NDS didn't work. (I didn't have other roms to try).

What also didn't work was HDMI sound, I couldn't test analog out as I broke my headphones.

Here is the link: http://nightly.builds.lakka.tv/Lakka-LE9.2/latest/

Probably most thanks to Jernej as he made this boards available in the libreelec 9.2 build system.

I don't have a pine H64 to test the lakka builds.  And I'm sill wondering wich board would be better, the rock64 or the pineH64 to run emulation on.
How is N64 performance on H6? won't have a chance to try in the near future.
I just bought a Pine H64, I will see how it performs once it arrives.

I received my pineH64 and tried lakka and the mupen64plus-next core.  My first impression is that the N64 emultion goes fine, nothing to complain for the moment, but for some reason my controls didn't work as expected.  So first I have to check what's wrong with the controls.
Parallel64 crashes.

Hi roel, I tried Lakka on my Pine H64 (no wifi, only lan, kickstarter edition), but I can't get to connect it to the network, so I can't upload any roms. I know for sure that lan port works because dietpi works fine. How did you transfer the roms to the card?
Thank you

To be honest I didn't try network.  I will try it some of these days.  I put my games straight on the sd.  So I put the sd in my main pc and put the files on the sd-card.
You can also put them on a usb stick and put the usb stick in the pineH64 and browse tot the usb from within LAKKA.

I tested with another controller and can tell SuperMarioKart64 goes full speed.  I will try more demanding games later on this week.

Thank you, good to know!
Wired network works for me, I tried ssh and I could connect. Probably you tried samba, you should check the Libreelec forums about this. They changed to samba 3, this makes it more difficult to connect. I had the same problem with Libreelec some time before. As I remember the auto discover for samba shares doesn't work anymore. You have to manualy point to the correct ip of the samba share.

Hi man I'm still fresh here what image i should use, i have same board you have Pine a64
take the one that mentions pine64 with the img.gz extension from this link: https://nightly.builds.lakka.tv/2020-02-...e64.img.gz
But I have a pine64+. In this case I should take the pine64-plus one: https://nightly.builds.lakka.tv/2020-02-...lus.img.gz
