Pretty quick question, could I create my own "Pinebook" that is android based and uses the Rock64 single board computer.

Thanks

does the rock64 have a battery connector? could you create one by hacking through gpio or even the 5v power supply connector?

The ROCK64 doesn't have the battery connector. You can using the battery add-on HAT module that developed for Raspberry Pi and use in ROCK64 board.
I was thinking of trying the PiTop chassis with the rock64, but it turns out to be too expensive to import to my country for testing purposes. Has anyone else tried it?

I am interested in this as well; I have ordered and am waiting on the Pinebook, which I look forward too, and have also ordered a Pine-LTS and a Rock64, which if it would work properly, and I assume for the most part it should, would make an amazing replacement in the PiTop.
