Is it possible to set up Boinc in this version of Ubuntu?

You can try it by followin this link:

https://boinc.berkeley.edu/wiki/Installi..._on_Ubuntu

I'm not going to try it on my system (I don't care, and I don't want to screw up the card).

The worst that will happen is that it won't work, or it will screw up the SD card, and you just have to start over... backup before you try it.

Big Grin
I have tried it using those instructions and wasn't successful. That's what prompted the question.

I first followed those steps (open a terminal window) and after following this instruction:

sudo aptitude install boinc-client boinc-manager

I got the following error:

sudo: aptitude: command not found

I then was able to install Boinc client and manager after installing the Synaptic Package manager.

Maybe I was not doing something correctly?
Search YouTube, I saw a video about it not too long ago.
I managed to install boinc manager by simply using sudo apt-get install boinc.

After it benchmarked, sadly it says there is no work, I assume that for the project I was trying (SETI), that arm64 is not supported. Not sure if any others are?
