128GB eMMC Preinstalled? - haziz - 03-30-2020

Am I correct in assuming that if I order the Pinebook Pro (ANSI, US) with the 128GB eMMC, I will get it with the 64GB eMMC installed and get a separate 128GB eMMC card that I would have to install myself?

I am not too afraid to open up the laptop and tinker inside, but it would be convenient to get the 128GB eMMC as a preinstalled option.

Thanks.

This has been discussed as desirable, but no confirmation yet that it will be offered in the future. I do believe that this would be a very welcome option. there are a lot of folks living in the gap of desiring >64GB and <NVME. 128GB or 256GB emmc would fit that gap nicely, and imho emmc is perfect for the pbp.

Please vote in my poll. : D

Could you please add 128GB eMMC as a build option for this preorder?

Also I see that "Pre-installed eMMC: None" is emerging as a desirable build option.
- If you already have enough of them sitting around and you don't want to buy another one
- If you want a size other than the available build options
- If you want to go NVME only (in the future)

I totally agree. In addition, if I'm not mistaken, an nvme memory currently does not correctly allow the suspend function. When you need a larger memory better use an external usb.
