No boot up after power on - Whoopsadaisy - 05-26-2020 It's on of my Rock64 v2 4GB that does not boot up anymore. After connecting the serial interface I see only: DDR version 1.13 20180428 ID:0x805 Y In ERR Is it bricked? All the system files and OS are stored on a sdcard/emmc, did the card die? RE: No boot up after power on - Whoopsadaisy - 05-26-2020 Same SD card used works in another Rock64. Same story with en eMMC module and a second SD card: DDR version 1.13 20180428 ID:0x805 Y In ERR DDR version 1.13 20180428 ID:0x805 Y In LPDDR3 786MHz data training error ERR DDR version 1.13 20180428 ID:0x805 Y In ERR DDR version 1.13 20180428 ID:0x805 Y In ERR DDR version 1.13 20180428 ID:0x805 Y In ERR On the SD cards I have installed: stretch-minimal-rock64-0.9.14-1159-arm64.img.xz and buster-minimal-rock64-0.10.12-1184-arm64.img.xz RE: No boot up after power on - kiriakos - 08-24-2020 Did you find out what your issue was? Apparently three of my rock64s started exhibiting a similar behaviour. RE: No boot up after power on - simonsouth - 09-26-2020 These error messages are memory-related: The Rockchip miniloader prints "data training error" when it's unable to configure the SDRAM controller to match the type of memory it detected, and "ERR" when it's unable even to determine which type of memory is installed. I'd say most likely the memory chip on your ROCK64 has died. |
