May Community Update thread - Dendrocalamus64 - 05-18-2020 Can you give us some more background on why you decided not to support cryptocurrency payments at this time? RE: May Community Update thread - Luke - 05-20-2020 Can we please let it rest? "No"? ... OK So apparently BitPay are the devil [edit] according to our user-base (hey, we didn't know), which means now we need to find a solution that works for us and end-users alike. This isn't quite as simple as it may seem because of reasons I will not get into. In any case, we're currently talking to a few reputable processors - all of whom are very friendly and willing to help us work around a number of limitations. I'm not saying it will happen - just that we're exploring our options and being more cautious this time around. RE: May Community Update thread - Dendrocalamus64 - 05-20-2020 Thanks. I hadn't heard of any of that, so it is useful to have it in the forum, and in the community updates, in addition to wherever it's been. I specialize in helping folks accept bitcoin payments. I'd love to discuss further your reservations about bitpay, and which other processors you are considering. Most importantly, I'm hoping there will be a lightning option, as this is the future of bitcoin payment processing. Loving the community that I've come across here. Keep up the great work! |
