I'm not really excited by ordering through Ubports. What's the timeline we're looking at for a non-Ubuntu branded release version of the PinePhone?

The purchase is still from the Pine store, and you can install any OS you want once you receive your Pinephone.

You can still 'boot' from the SD card anytime you want to.

I guess his problem is more with the branding. He probably doesn't want the UBPorts logo on the back.
