Hey, have searched all over for this, have tried a trrs lavalier mic but had no input signal. Does this laptop support microphone input through 3.5 mm headphone Jack?

Yes, but you need to use the correct plug. I tried using a headset (headphones with a microphone, https://www.logitech.com/en-us/product/stereo-headset-h151 ) and the microphone worked.
