armbian / bionic - hdmi to vga not functioning on newer5.4 - kapqa - 03-24-2020

Hello ,

i tested the newer Armbian Bionic Desktop 5.4 for Rock64 and it would not allow me to boot with a HDMI to VGA adapter.

reverting to the desktop legacy kernel 4.4.y image instead would allow me to boot with the same HDMI-to-VGA adpter.

do i need to include something into the

armbianEnv.txt on the newer Kernel?

Thanks!
