Sorry, I don't know why you don't see your 5GHz WiFi.

The only thing I can think of, (it bit me once), was that you have the same name for both your 2.4GHz & 5GHz WiFi networks. And the software on our Pinebook Pro is getting confused. That of course is very un-likely.

When it bit me, (many years ago when I first starting using 5GHz WiFi), I started using different names for the different bands on my WiFi router. Like;

wifi_name
wifi_name5g

As I said, it's un-likely to be your problem.

Just for clarification:  are you saying that with the Manjaro build you do see the 5Ghz wifi but not with the default build,  but that you are seeing the 2.4GHz wifi?  If so,  I am assuming that you tried the pbp with each build in the same place.  If that is the case,  can you move the device closer to your router and try?   Also,  if you check the WiFi troubleshooting section of the wiki,  you will get several suggestions about fixing the wifi,  one of which is using the firmware from the Manjaro build...

I've already tried all of this, just does not see it on the default debian  Undecided
