Poe splitter works fine - drewh - 05-04-2016 Hadn't seen anyone else post a success story on the POE splitter yet so I thought I would do so. I have a Netgear POE switch and have successfully booted the pine64+ headless using the backer-kit offered splitter with the longsleep Ubuntu image. How lame if you have in mind what I proposed back in Dec already: http://forum.pine64.org/showthread.php?tid=28&pid=168#pid168 If it's 100 Mbits/sec only they could've routed the 2 cable pairs that are unused when using Fast Ethernet for passive PoE already to DC-IN and no one needs to spend insane $10 on this. RE: Poe splitter works fine - rahlquist - 05-04-2016 Hey Tllim you may want to have your Sales Site people get that note on the adapter ASAP or get the specs posted if they contradict what we are seeing here. Otherwise you have something else people are going to want to return. If the claim is lacking the spec, we will translate from the original Chinese version and post up. This is a 100Mbps PoE, not Gigabit, this is also not the one that somebody claimed same as eBay one. Otherwise they would start to think from a backer's/customer's perspective and improve documentation/information.
