IR add-on availability - mpjf01 - 05-02-2016 The store does not seem to currently have the IR peripheral as something I can buy. Is there something special about the device or is it possible to add a standard IR receiver? Is it planned to sell the official receiver in the store soon? Pine IR sensor according to tllim http://www.vishay.com/docs/82479/tssp58038.pdf TSOP4838 http://www.vishay.com/docs/82459/tsop48.pdf The S and O difference in the part number means S=Sensor or O=IR reciever They both have the same base 38khz frequency (last two digits of the part numbers) Their electrical characteristics seem very similar. Their package shape seems to be the largest difference? Anyone? This remote only works on MX player, it has different command set then Pine64. For Pine64 command, please refer to Pine64 wiki page.
