opensuse and fedora images - smithmcgriff - 02-03-2020 Hey everyone, I've created working images for openSUSE Tumbleweed and Fedora. You can grab them here https://github.com/smithmcgriff RE: opensuse and fedora images - tophneal - 02-03-2020 Awesome! Feel free to add these to the Software Release wiki page! (You can use your forum login to make edits to a page.) RE: opensuse and fedora images - smithmcgriff - 02-03-2020 (02-03-2020, 11:25 AM)tophneal Wrote: Awesome! I was able to add it to the software page, but I'm unsure of how to add a .png photo, and link it to the main wiki page for pinebook pro. I've never edited a wiki before. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks! RE: opensuse and fedora images - tophneal - 02-03-2020 (02-03-2020, 12:15 PM)smithmcgriff Wrote:(02-03-2020, 11:25 AM)tophneal Wrote: Awesome! For the time being, you can upload the image you want to use to something like imgur and use a direct link to the image to add it to the wiki. I know there's away to add images, but it's limited to keep the use of images, where unneeded, down. That is covered in the readme file I believe. You can remove "maxcpus=4" from "/etc/extlinux/extlinux.conf". That should add full power back. bil (02-03-2020, 10:02 AM)smithmcgriff Wrote: Hey everyone, I've created working images for openSUSE Tumbleweed and Fedora. It is very slow to boot. Some applications run quite well, others like software center just appear to stall out. Thank you for your work. bill |
