Pinebook missing screw from the factory - tso4ev - 01-20-2020
Hi all I have a problem with missing lid screw from the factory I've contakt the pinebook per email the same day they told me that I need to wait they will contact their hardware devision.. And I'm still waithing for answer... I just need the specs for the screw to be able to order some it really bugs me... the screw is at the bottom side of the lid (shorter one it has longer ones too same head I'm happy they are all in place) if someone knows the type or the name of it please to share with me

After experimenting, what worked for me were M2 flat head machine screws (M2 is the size).
4mm for the short screws and 6 mm for the longer ones....
Its inexpensive to just buy a set of M2 screws--I think it will be easy to lose them...

Eventually I hope all information is available. Not that I plan on building my own Pinebook Pro. But if I want to modify it, details like this will help.

Screws, estimated dimensions, (until we can get confirmation)
M2 flat head machine screws
8 x 6mm in length
2 x 4mm in length
they should be 6 x 6mm and
4 x 4 mm
I've place Order from aliexpress of 2 different sets of m2 when they arrive and I test it will confirm and share a link

And, I added a note that the 4 shorter screws are used along the front edge. Might help someone putting it back together.
