Ubuntu mate boot failure - hdk - 11-27-2019 Ubuntu mate, during boot (the fast text command scrolling): 7613770 fixing recursive fault but reboot is needed. I have to hold the power button down for longer time to reboot. I don't have a pinebook UART breakout cable handy right now to debug it further unfortunately. Strangely I don't ever have this happen when I boot Ubuntu from an sd card. Are you doing anything strange with your filesystems? My eMMC system is on a ZFS root so I wonder if that's contributing. The Manjaro team recently had a few patches to keep the wifi from crashing the machine during boot too (it needs to be powered on in a specific order), I wonder if that's related? RE: Ubuntu mate boot failure - hdk - 11-28-2019 Boot = eMMC, rootfs = NVMe SSD (Toshiba OCZ RC100, 240 GB, m.2 2242). I use my PBP a lot, the error occurs once or twice a week.
