I have found a related item which works well. Fits the pinephone like a glove. Black leather pouch type with magnetic clasp, and on the back is a spring clip for attaching to belt or other clothing item. Manufacturer: ROOTS, Item# R30HXXLBK

Looks like it's available at most electronics outlets such as Best Buy, Staples, London Drugs etc.
For some reason most online adds only show the front view, and I see we can't upload images here so you'll have to trust me when I say it's a good fit.
This together with a tempered glass screen protector have allowed me to consider using the pinephone under real world conditions.

I was looking for one too and found these printable cases:

You can download the model there and order a printer case from a 3d print supplier. I tried with one of the cases and the expected price was around 19-25 euros (depending on material used) plus shipping.

I've bought this : https://www.gsm55.com/ref/11641-housse-etui-fancy-style-noir.html
Not usable with a belt but a pocket.
The phone is very high, so the silicone frame must be slightly tired to take a picture. For the rest : good.

@Gribouille , can  you share photos of how it looked eventually in detail?
