PCIe card success ? - DrYak - 11-12-2019 Has someone tried using a M.2 to PCIe x4 riser card on the Pinebook Pro for shit'n'giggles ? Did you manage to get something else than an NVMe recognized? (Sata card/Network card/other PCIe card? Or let's be even more over-optimistic: some PLX (as Rockchip doesn't handle bifurcating) and *multiple* PCIe cards or a GPU ?) I don't really think of any real-world use case that couldn't be handled by using USB 3.0 or does even make sense (a discrete GPU on this low-power chromebook-like laptop), but probably somebody is going to try this "for the lulz". |
