Netflix on PBP - aversglay - 11-06-2019

I am pretty sure I tried Netflix a few days ago and it worked, but now it seems I am getting a complaint about missing component (Error Cod: C7702-1003). I launch chromium (firefox still crashes after only seconds) with :

chromium-browser --disk-cache-size=2147483648 --user-agent="Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS armv7l 6946.63.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/72.0.3626.121 Safari/537.36"

Any advice?

I believe it needs a package for Netflix's DRM. I'll tell you the name if I find it.

Would that be:

sudo /usr/bin/update_widevine.sh

?

Yup, it'll take a little while to run but it works well. I've watched netflix a few times on mine.

Thanks, that did it.

update_widevine.sh does not exist on my Pinebook Pro.

I believe it was part of one of the first few updates made available available. If you catch up on recommended updates it should become available.
