Pinebook Pro won't turn on - codebreaker - 10-31-2019 I just received my Pinebook Pro. I opened the box, and hit the power button, but nothing happens. I plugged the charger in, and I see a tiny LED near the barrel connector that is red, but then it turns off after about a minute. No other lights come on, and after a half hour of being plugged into the charger, the unit still won't power on. Any suggestions? A tap, and a long hold. A tap won't turn it on, a press about a second turns it on. If I understand correctly, the power led should remain lit while connected to the power supply. RE: Pinebook Pro won't turn on - GLSRacer - 11-01-2019 I'm having the same issue. Long press, 1 second press, tap, etc, nothing works. I'm wondering if something wasn't connected correctly inside. RE: Pinebook Pro won't turn on - bebop_man - 11-01-2019 Same issue. Red light by the barrel, but no other indication of power. Short presses, long presses, no activity on the panel display or keyboard lights RE: Pinebook Pro won't turn on - GLSRacer - 11-01-2019 I'm going to remove the back panel tomorrow morning and see if everything is connected properly. I'm looking at mine now, and everything seems to connected. I even tried disconnecting the battery and connecting the bypass. Still didn't power on. I even removed AC power, Disconnected the bypass, replaced the battery, and held down the power switch for 30 secs. Still nothing RE: Pinebook Pro won't turn on - GLSRacer - 11-01-2019 Success! I reseated the eMMC again with a bit more force and this time there was a more positive click. I then hit the reset button on the board and the laptop booted up.
