UK charger - mstevens - 10-13-2019 Hi, With the recent manjaro releases I'm getting more into using my pinebook and realizing the EU charger feels a little bit cheap and cheerful, especially with the need for an adapter for the UK. Does anyone have a recommendation for something a bit more solid and with a UK plug on it? RE: UK charger - neilman - 10-13-2019 I purchased a 5 volt 4 amp version for my Pinebook Pro though the standard Pine version is only 3 amps from Ebay with the following search... "UK Plug 5V 4A 4000mA AC-DC Switching Adaptor Power Supply 3.5mm x 1.3mm" Cost £14, works well but only has a 1-metre lead. As long as its at least 3A with the 3.5mmx1.3mm barrel plug it should work fine. It arrived quickly, it works well. You're right the 1m lead can be a little short. I've noticed it sometimes makes a high pitched whining noise. I'm afraid I could not have observed any high pitched noises as I'm deaf so apologies for that if it turns out to be a design fault. The power unit does however charge perfectly. Cheers ...
