Hello everyone,

I just wanted to inform those from 1st batch that still have not received notification of shipment that I contacted the pine team through email and it seems that the information about all 1st batch orders having shipped was not entirely true. Here's an excerpt of the response that I just received:

Quote:We are very sorry that you still have not received Pinebook Pro as the stock release from factory was limited, however, we are please to infom you that your order was still under the first batch of 100 units, and estimate will be dispatch at around end of October.

So, I guess we just have to have a little more patience. Smile

Patience is in my top 5 skills list. I can't tell you the trouble being impatient has caused

For anyone that didn't see Luke's update

The second and third batch Pinebook Pro PCBs have already arrived at the factory and will be assembled this week. The entire laptops will be assembled and quality control checked right after; if all goes well, we'll have them shipped by the end of October or sometime in the first week of November. I'll keep you posted. [edit 24/10/19] It appears that everything is on-track regarding assembly, and the batch will indeed go out on the 29/10.

Most excellent! Tongue
(there's more but this is my section Smile  being a second batcher)

Looking forward to getting the email...then I'll be biting my nails!

Guessing a week or two in shipping to the U.S. (TX)

How about roughly 24 hours? Nice huh :-)!!
Was notified early on the first day? Had it in hand about midday the next.
First notification, real time, showed at DHL in Hong Kong. That was amazing..Maybe I'm easily impressed!! :-)

Wow... awesome. I'm not going to expect that though.

I'll try and temper my expectations. You never know with mail.

Still counting down Smile

Remember, it's DHL not the postal service!!

Believe me, I was surprised. It's probably a good thing that DHL does do the delivery of it. They've got a well oiled machine to make this happen....

We don't know what's involved in the trip from the factory to DHL's shipping drop off. These days it may be more difficult than one could imagine.

Hope you'll let us know how it works for you when it happens in a few short days!! :-)

I did too and I'm in the 2nd batch. The email refers to a tracking number which is not included in the text. I assume I'll get the tracking number from DH in 2 to 5 daysL
