Pinebook Pro Community pre-order ending / public pre-order open on 25th - Luke - 08-23-2019
Hey all, just a quick reminder, community Pinebook Pro pre-orders with the 128GB eMMC upgrade finish tomorrow. Starting the 25th, public pre-oders begin, which means everyone will be able to place a pre-order. Mind you, we expect this production batch to sell out quickly, but another batch is scheduled for early-to-mid September, so don't worry.
All Pinebook Pro units pre-odered after August 24th will ship in the default eMMC configuration regardless of if you've registered on the forum prior to July 1st 2019 or not.

At which time the 25th public pre order will start ? 00:01 AM ? if so which timezone ?
Sorry to ask again, but how much time should we expect to get the device at home ? Something like November ?

Luke, I haven't received my coupon yet even though I registered before 1st July and signed that form on like the 26th or 27th july when you opened those order registrations for coupons. Please help!

Ok, but from your posts it seemed like if 25th August comes around that it'll only be 64GB and I hadn't/haven't received it, so was getting anxious.

Ok, but from your posts it seemed like if 25th August comes around that it'll only be 64GB and I hadn't/haven't received it, so was getting anxious.
It might not be too transparent, but there seem to be several "milestones" you need to go though to get your hands on your own PbPro:
- First you get into the preorder queue if eligible (should be public now)
- Then at some later point sales(?) send you a coupon code for the purchase, which you use to make the actual purchase in the eshop
- Once the current batch is manufactured, a unit gets sent out to you

That was/is only the process for the forum preorders. The public preorders do not require a coupon. You just go to the Pine64 Store and preorder there.

I ended up getting my preorder coupon and did place the order in time, so I'm a happy camper!
