PBP Upgradeability - aquarat - 08-13-2019 I was wondering, is there a plan for the main board inside the PBP to be swappable with future boards ? In other words, a component upgrade vs replacing the entire machine ? The current PBP board is compatible with original Pinebook - we just need to figure out thermals and other bits and bobs. RE: PBP Upgradeability - aquarat - 08-14-2019 haha, that's fantastic. I was thinking something like a laptop chassis as a base board for a SoPine/SoEdge SoM. When the module gets old you could dump it in a clusterboard for general computing. |
