Latest Android Build and associated kernel source - Vasant - 08-09-2019

Hi,

I have a Rock64 board and wanted to give it a try again.
I see new Android releases made for this but do not see git repos of kernel sources for the new release.
The last time I tried Android it was based on a 3.10 (? ) kernel. I think Rockchip has moved to 4.4 kernel.

Yes it has:
rk3328_box:/ $ uname -a
Linux localhost 4.4.167 #1 SMP PREEMPT Thu Jul 25 13:04:48 MSK 2019 aarch64

Taken from Android TV 9 built from the repository described by dazza5000 here:

Thanks

Hmm, yes. It surprisingly appeared rooted after install.

My true trouble is that using Android9 i can't get addon DAC card working. It seems that system started to consume more power with Android9 and the power supply is not enough for it. It hangs periodically and DAC does not work (no sound from SPDIF interface). Had to get it off for better days.

I will give this another try,  although my build machine is somewhat slow to build Android SDK.

Thanks
