UEFI for PINE A64 - matwey - 12-29-2015

Hello,

It is unclear from the site. Is UEFI boot supported on the board?

Allwinner SoCs use u-boot. Unfortunately the only available u-boot version for A64 still relies on Allwinner's outdated sys_config.fex stuff. You might find some informations here: http://forum.armbian.com/index.php/topic/491-need-help-on-pine-a64-15-64bit-quad-core-12ghz-single-board-computer/

I still bring up this topic with them about open up boot0 request, they understand the UEFI request but still not willing to open this code base. However, this time they knows the consequence, and hopefully they will open up this code base soon.

Why are they so unwilling? Are they hiding something?I don't get that.

They worry about their China competitor access to their info.

What about signing Non Disclosure Agreement? Would be that an option?
