Hi,
I'm new here and I'd like to ask you following:
At the USB-Port how many mA do I have?
It's possible to make
max_usb_current=1
like at the Raspberry PI?
I neeed at last 1200mA for a USB-Port.

From a standard computer-sourced USB 1 or USB 2 port you can have 500ma
From a standard computer-sourced USB 3 port you can have 900mA
Both can actually start lower and need to be negotiated upwards to the max allowed.
Anything above that is at the discretion of the computer maker but is not standard.
You only get serious power reliably from a charger device (wall-wart or power bank).
Often a dodge of using two adjacent USB ports in parallel is used for powering external hard drives and optical drives (using a special "Y" cable)
