USB - MathiasJ - 05-03-2019 Hi, I'm new here and I'd like to ask you following: At the USB-Port how many mA do I have? It's possible to make max_usb_current=1 like at the Raspberry PI? I neeed at last 1200mA for a USB-Port. Anything above that is at the discretion of the computer maker but is not standard. You only get serious power reliably from a charger device (wall-wart or power bank). Often a dodge of using two adjacent USB ports in parallel is used for powering external hard drives and optical drives (using a special "Y" cable) |
