the 24/48 rockpro64 cluster - LMM - 04-05-2019

Hi every one,
I just read that the pine64 team just shown up the their 24 and 48 rockpro64 cluster. I am very interested in making such a monster. @Luke, can you give some details on how you build the cluster and where you found the case ?

LMM.

TL built it together with a team (there are quite a few custom bits on it). I'll ask him to look into this thread and perhaps post some close-ups Smile

That would be very kind, thank you. I just have tons of questions.

Any news/updates on the close up photos and availability of the 24 node cluster?

Any info? I'm particularly curious about power

The power numbers on these clusters can be calculated quite easily:
Every RPro64 draws min. ~4W and max. ~10W.

Max for the 24xRPro64 cluster = ~250W
Max for the 48xRPro64 cluster = ~500W
