Did you generate the image using manjaro-arm-installer? I think the last pinebook img Manjaro released, before moving it from released imgs to being available through manjaro-arm-installer was 19.10. You may want to start with that image and just update it once booted.

You're right. I booted successfully from 19.10 and i install it as well, thank you.

Somehow the size of the root is 5.8 GB i don't see ask me to name the its size, the partition is 28GB (as size of emmc 32GB) but only 5.8GB are shown. KPartionmanager shows it's 28GB with 5.8GB allocated how to fix that?

That's odd, usually the image resizes itself on first boot. You can always try booting another linux from SD and using the disk manager to resize your partition. Probably the easiest way since Manjaro uses a single partition you wont be able to unmount and resize while in it.

RE: Manjaro ARM for Pinebook - mspohr - 04-27-2020

I downloaded Manjaro ARM i3 20.04 pinebook emmc installer and burned an SD card with Etcher.
Doesn't boot on my Pinebook Pro.

Microphone not working - telle - 05-10-2020

Hi
I have Manjaro on my pinebook, but the microphone is not working

Code:
[p@pinebook ~]$ uname -a
Linux pinebook 5.6.0-rc5-1-MANJARO-ARM #1 SMP Sun Apr 5 22:25:55 CEST 2020 aarch64 GNU/Linux

The driver is

Code:
FDT /dtbs/allwinner/sun50i-a64-pinebook.dtb
in Alsamixer the mic appears as off
[Image: ee3fa75224c145a98bb7cd422f4ce293]
Tried everything, but I can't get it to work. It does work with Xenial Mate, so mic works.
Any help?
Thanks

RE: Manjaro ARM for Pinebook - Corkonian - 10-12-2020

Downloaded 20.08, uncompressed .xz, used Etcher to write SD, booted from SD, but the process did not install on EMMC, but on SD. What did I do wrong? Angry

Addendum: in the initial boot message I get "Loading Environment from FAT... Unable to use mmc 1:1... In:   serial"

try using the 20.04 sd to emmc installer img and updating after installation.

I was using 20.06 and 20.08 from here https://osdn.net/projects/manjaro-arm/storage/pinebook/kde-plasma/
20.04? Can't find it...

In an attempt to further address that, I decided to remove all partitions from the built-in eMMC.
Gives me a slightly different Uboot message, but still doesn't install on eMMC but on SD...
