EasyOS 1.0.4 running on Rock64 - BarryK - 02-02-2019

For anyone who is interested:

http://bkhome.org/news/201902/easyos-version-104-for-rock64.html

To get a quick overview of what EasyOS is all about, see here:

https://easyos.org/about/how-and-why-easyos-is-different.html

I have been running Easy on the Rock64 for several days, it is completely stable, have been compiling huge packages, such as LibreOffice and the kernel.

Regarding the kernel, thanks to ayufan, I just downloaded from his repo, patched aufs and simplified the .config (mostly took out debugging stuff).

Booted from SD card, I have not yet tried putting it onto the eMMC.

Regards,
BarryK

ok, i'll probably give it a try once i unpack the rock64 [i moved recently]. otherwise, i think "matter" exists in the physical world and comes in various forms. the conscious formulates an internal representation of the matter, this is perception. take for example, your room at night, if you turn on the lights you perceive all types of matter around you, if you turn off the lights and the room is completely dark you perceive nothing since you can not see the matter, however the matter still exists, you just have no internal representation. off topic i know but i just had to throw it out. if you want to continue a discussion on your theory start a thread in general. otherwise, i will let you know what i think about easyos later. thanks.

Hello Barry,

Please advice where should download the EasyOS image file.
I tested easy-1.0.4-aarch64.img.gz (http://distro.ibiblio.org/easyos/aarch64/releases/pyro/1.0.4/) where it will stuck after running awhile.
Note Booted from Micro SD Card

Please advice.

Thank you
