NextCloud with Rock64Pro - aj64 - 01-10-2019

Hello everyone,
I want to setup a NextCloud instance, and thought the Rock64Pro would be awesome.

Pardon my ignorance, yet: What would you suggest in order to connect a 4TB hdd to the board?
Should I do it via USB?
I do *not* need super sata speed.
Once the hdd/nextcloud files are synchronized, I'll be good to go with USB speed.

Would connection via USB be the ideal way?
Any other suggestions?

Thank you for your help!

If you only want to connect a single HDD then USB 3.0 (or C) will be fine. If its a 3.5" drive you'll need to power it externally; a 2.5" HDD can be powered directly from USB 3.0.

As for installing Nextcloud, I followed these instructions on ubuntu 18.04 and have since done some minor modifications (to enable caching etc.,). I guess there are many  other ways to install Nextcloud too (e.g. docker).

Luke,
Thank you for your help!
Much appreciated.

Do you know of any good fanless cases for the RockPro units?
