Most stable Linux rom and 1080p support? - Nelly - 10-04-2018

Hello there are many Linux roms available for the rock64, can someone please advise me on the most stable Linux rom? Can Linux support 1080p video yet? Not just though kodi or whatever, I want to be able to use my browser and log in to steaming services like Skygo for example. Like I would on desktop, thanks.

As for stable with desktop the one tagged LXDE from here and the stretch one from here are pretty stable and i used them in the past and work fine, not sure if they can achieve 1080p on streaming services, 720p sure, 1080 you have to test them youself...libreelec is pretty stable nowadays and AFAIK can achieve up to 4k but ofc dont include a desktop...and BTW i have no idea what exactly is that skygo but there is this...

Thank you for the suggestions, I will try them. That link is go German Sky Go I need UK version, but my point is on android many streaming apps get blocked but when I try on laptop they work perfect.. This is very frustrating for me so would be good if I can do this on Linux but as far as I know 1080p couldn't even be achieved on Linux on rock64. That was a while ago so maybe things have changed now?
