CPU clocks - Arkadiusz - 03-19-2018

Hi,

I can not find any information regarding SoC freq used.
How it compare to Rock64, which uses 1296 MHz clock?

To the best of my knowledge, it's an "up to" 2Ghz clock for the RockPro64 ... so it should be just a wee bit faster Wink

Thanks!
This is what I can find but to make my question clear. All cores goes up to 2Ghz or A72 only?
What about inter core synchronization? I mean can I treat it as 6 cores of the same speed or shall expect problems like with Exynos 5422, where small memory block transfer test, but more importantly both prime numbers as well as contex switching tests sucks when comparing to Rock64...

Well, Rock64 with 1.8GHz would be perfect for my application Smile

That I can't tell you, as I don't have one. It may be a little while before that point can be answered as IIRC it was pushed back to April? And, really it is only real-world tested to properly answer that question... as what it *should* do doesn't always match reality and software support Wink Either way, it should quite a bit faster than it's sibling, and should have some interesting features.

Yes, i will wait.

By the way competitor product, Odroid N1, claims to use 2x2GHz + 4x1.5GHz

Hm, going by the RK3399 specs... that would be right... making the pro one ripper of a media playback device!

Most likely will do great for games too - that Mali T860MP4 is quite a GPU.
