Can we know what is the new feature you were talking about in the OP? Or is it the wire patch Tongue

Yes, the wire patch :-)

The new feature is the LPDDR4 upgrade from LPDDR3, this increase overall system memory and IO (DMA) performance. However, the LPDDR4 driver still in tuning stage, the performance increase still not yet calculated. This ROCKPro64 is the first and only RK3399 SBC in current market using LPDDR4.

So just to confirm, all models of the Rockpro64 are currently out of stock?
I'm gutted, have been keeping a close eye on this board and looking forward to itsi release. Was able to add it to my basket, but it shows out of stock at chrckoch.

Both models sold out within a few hours.

wow, definitely a case of "you snooze, you lose".

hopefully the shop will be updated with some accurate measurements for those of us who want to try and squeeze these boards into interesting devices. I was thinking of trying to stick one inside a PiTop shell!

The next batch of ROCKPro64 will be release on late May or early June.

The ROCKPro64 board size identical to PINE A64 and your can use PINE A64 measurement as reference.

Can we expect a larger batch this time? It was quite a let-down that I missed the 5-minute window Sad

The coming batch is larger batch (10 times larger). The current batch last about 12 hours before sold off.

Since this thread was only meant as an announcement (and a place to ask questions re. the delay), and since the board is now out - at least the first batch - I'll close this thread not to scatter early discussions.
