Differences between Android and Android TV images - 1n9i9c7om - 02-12-2018 Hi, I've just received my Rock64 and I'm planning to use Kodi and other multimedia apps on it, while it's connected to my TV. Should i be using the Android 7.1.2 or the Android TV 7.1.2 image? What's the difference between the two? Thanks! Eventually the Android root version performs better and has more software available. I though Android TV was like a vanilla version of Android for devices different from smartphone but it is just a version to promote google (payment) services and it is not even rooted. I will return to the Android root version, I almost got how handle with the touchscreen inputs without a touchscreen.
