Hi
I am new to the community and I have purchased ROCK64 a day back. I want to test it'c capability of 4K play back. Can you please let me know the software that can be used in Rock64 to play 4K video?

I have been running and testing KODI (Kwiboo's alpha 5) for a couple of days as a secondary player on a 1080p TV in the bedroom and has worked well so far - I really can't complain. Once / when / if we get support for legal streaming addons such as Netflix or Amazon Prime this will effectively replace the box I am using in the bedroom right now.

I'm interested in buying rock64. But I still have doubts, the main one is about playing files at 4k @ 60fps. is it playing without locks and bugs? In which player/os?

Can't remember if it was LibreElec or Android - but 4k60 played does play alright.

As far as I know, 4K 60 FPS is not playing smoothly in libreelec currently. Also the entire build has issues at the moment. Lots of unexpected crashes.
