Pinebook Keyboard and Stand - MarkHaysHarris777 - 08-11-2017

The two pics (above) show the modified Pinebook desk;  I have added the stand ( by Targus ) and the keyboard ( by Logitech; K400+ ) to solve two systemic problems with the Pinebook, namely that the screen is too low for ergonomic viewing, and the built-in keyboard "missing keypresses" issue is unbearable ( intolerable ).

The Targus stand props the Pinebook at the right ergonomic angle for pleasant viewing, and the the Logitech K400+ usb keyboard and built-in trackpad gives me full functionality of keyed input with the right touch and correct response on the trackpad !

I did have to reset the defaults ( hardware keyboard layouts ) and I did need to turn up the sensitivity and acceleration on the trackpad since the Logitech has a more "normal" feel ( YMMV ).

I am in the stages of removing the built-in keyboard module ( which is a laborious process ) and that obviously is not complete;  I'll keep you posted on my progress !

Happy to see the results of any experimentation.

Let  us know how the keyboard replacement process goes. I would love to see a documented process for this. I agree the included keyboard is a waste of time to use.
